An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Account Director in this vibrant medical communications agency/publisher. Hayward creates and delivers integrated and strategic solutions for pharmaceutical and healthcare companies in a wide range of therapy areas. Solutions can range from market access programmes, technology appraisals and medical education, to digital media and medical publishing. You will be responsible for directing and managing accounts from a strategic perspective. The role also involves significant responsibility for business development with new and existing clients and the potential to develop account team members, including the coaching and mentoring of account managers and associates.
This is an opportunity to join the senior management team at Hayward. Applicants should have a life science degree or higher and a proven track-record of client or customer management, business development, proposal development and presentation, project and budget management. Previous experience in the healthcare sector, pharmaceutical sales and/or marketing would also be beneficial. The role will require regular travel to UK and European clients, with some out-of-hours meetings and travel.
