Senior Account Manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a current or aspiring Senior Account Manager who is ambitious and looking for their next move within healthcare communications.
Hayward is a medical communications agency/publisher who creates and delivers integrated, strategic solutions for pharmaceutical and healthcare companies in a wide range of therapy areas. Solutions can range from market access programmes, technology appraisals and medical education, to digital media and medical publishing.
You will be responsible for managing accounts from a strategic perspective and will be involved in business development both with new and existing clients. There will also be the opportunity to coach and mentor more junior members of the team.
Applicants should have a life science degree or higher and a proven track record of client or customer management, business development, project and budget management, and proposal development and presentation. Previous experience in the healthcare communications/agency sector is essential with experience in pharmaceutical sales and/or marketing desirable but not essential. The role will require regular travel to UK and European clients, with some out-of-hours meetings and travel.
